The gas distribution device of fuel cell has bars (19) which are so formed, that within area of the bar increased cross-flow of oxidant or reducer can be formed in the gas diffusion layer of gas channel (18) to its adjacent gas channel (18') below the bar in adjacent area of the bar. An independent claim is also included for the fuel cell.
