The method involves creating a data record representing an artificial denture (1) or part of the artificial denture using a computer for the fabrication of the artificial denture. The computer also stores the created data record. The data record is used to examine the interior part (1b) and exterior part (1a) of the artificial denture. The data record is also used for examining the undercuts (3) formed on the artificial denture. A polishing tool (4) is used for finishing the artificial denture. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) Computer; (2) Computer program for creating data records of artificial dentures; and (3) Computer-readable medium storing the computer program.
