The method involves embedding a laminar body with readable characteristic data (8), into the material of dentures (2). The body is formed by a flexible, tear firm foil cut. The foil cut provided with the characteristic data is inserted into a recess and covered with base body material of the dentures. An independent claim is also included for artificial dentures part having a plastic basis body is provided with a spare tooth.
