A thin film transistor circuit comprises a thin film layer (5) of crystallized semiconductor material which is two-dimensionally divided into surfaces (10) for defining crystal grains, each of which accommodates a crystal grain (SX) whose size exceeds a predetermined amount, and thin film transistors, of which each has a channel region disposed at the center position of a corresponding surface under the crystal grain defining surfaces (10), and wirings interconnecting the thin film transistors.
