The road-building device (1) has a scraper blade (2,3) set at an acute angle (13) to the device's working direction (5) which when in motion brings material not from within the road to outside but from outside to inside. It has a ground treatment device (8) at its front end (7) used to push to the side unused material. Through the setting and position of the device the portion of the material to be used for the road and the portion, because of being either unuseable or unneeded, to be pushed away, can be set. The material to be used is brought to the middle with the material already there and formed into the road shape by the scraper blade.
