The structure (10) has an arch shaped tubular structure including a series of arch shaped reinforcement units (11) spaced at regular intervals on foundation slabs (12) along a longitudinal direction. The reinforcement units are covered by a metal cladding that is used as permanent formwork during shotcreting of finished concrete to form a wall of the tubular structure, where each reinforcement unit has an arched metal section (14).
