The fan has a diffuser with a constant section on its length and a volute tongue (12) inclined with respect to a wheel axle (3) at a preset inclination angle of low value. The tongue is situated in a plane parallel to the axle and is inclined such that the dimension of an air diffusion section in an outlet of a volute (1) is reduced and increased respectively at front and rear walls of the volute.
