The body has volume increasing units (5) to increase volume of a part of the body to give a relief to a lateral zone (6) of the surface. The volume increasing units are movable between an active position in seat raised position, in which the zone is in relief and an inactive position in the seat folded position, in which the surface is plane. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle seat comprising a base or a backrest comprising an upholstery unit.
