The mechanism has a cam (30) moving between locking and unlocking positions in which locking elements (11-13) are maintained in active and inactive positions, respectively. Cylindrical bores are formed on a flange (10), and rotatably guide the elements with respect to the flange. A support surface (26) of a flange (20) prevents the element (11) and permits the element (12) to be in the active position in a set of angular tilting positions of the flange (10) with respect to the flange (20). The cam maintains the element (12) in the inactive position when the cam is in the unlocking position.
