The method involves forming a stack (30) comprising a reinforcement (18) and a top layer (19). An interposed layer (22) made of thermoplastic material is disposed between the reinforcement and the top layer. The layer (22) has a low temperature fusion phase to bring the stack to a temperature closer to melting temperature of the layer (22) and exert a pressure on the top layer to deform it and creep the layer (22). An independent claim is also included for a sliding or rolling board having a composite structure.
