The valve has a main pressure regulating mechanism with a movable valve (7) controlled by a movable actuator (12) and a lower valve (16). The actuator and an upper valve (17) close a branch circuit in case of insufficient output pressure. Intake gas pressure is exerted on both sides of the valve (7). Pressure forces intervening in the branch circuit are less than pressure forces exerting on the mechanism. The branch circuit comprises an intermediate part (2b), an upper part (2c), a channel (10) and a pipe (20).
