The method involves defining the trajectory of a vehicle from its rate of yaw and a loss of control of the trajectory by the difference between the set rate of yaw and the real measured rate of yaw. The maximum value of the acceleration of yaw is calculated to minimize the recovery duration. The recovery duration is equal to the ratio between the difference and the acceleration of yaw according to Euler`s integration scheme. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle equipped with a trajectory control system.
