PLATEMAKING/PRINTING SYSTEM AND PLATE CHECK METHOD FOR PLATEMAKING/PRINTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two site-operating platemaking/printing system which can realize secure transfer of necessary data for plate checking process from a first site to a second site, and certainly perform the plate checking process.;SOLUTION: In the platemaking site 10 which is a first site, a hash value generating part 104 generates a hash value based on edit/layout data 3, and a reference image data output part 105 outputs reference image data 2 to a folder using the hash value as a folder name. Further, reference image data 2 is sent to a printing plate site 20 which is the second site from the platemaking site 10 in the state that the reference image data 2 is enclosed in the folder. In the printing plate site 20, the hash value generating part 225 generates the hash value based on the edit/layout data 3 which is sent from the platemaking site 10. The plate checking process part 227 retrieves the folder in which the reference image data 2 to be used for plate checking process is enclosed, based on the hash value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
