PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To integrate a machining program with information about machining and to collect information about machining during machining.;SOLUTION: An instruction of "Display_Message" in an NC program in ISO 14649 format is provided with an extended instruction with an argument "NC:". The NC program is decoded line by line (a2), and if the argument is "NC:" in the "Display_Message" instruction when the instruction is stored in memory, an extended instruction flag is turned on and the instruction is stored in memory, together with the decoding result (a3-a6). To execute the instruction decoded, a determination is made as to whether or not the extended instruction flag is on; if it is not on, a normal process is performed; if it is on, the process of the extended instruction is executed and a process designated by the argument is performed on information of the kind designated by the argument. With the extended instruction, information related to machining such as information about a machined condition or information from an external database can be collected and displayed, and information is integrated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
