PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of a commodity master, and to reduce human cost by reducing trouble of input work of commodity names.;SOLUTION: This commodity name input assist device has: a storage part 40 storing first to third commodity division name tables T1-T3 each comprising a plurality of element names belonging to the same kind; a CPU 10 as a display control means making a display part 50 display the plurality of element names constituting the first to third commodity division name tables T1-T3 in each the first to third commodity division name table T1-T3; an input part 60 receiving a selection instruction of one of the plurality element names constituting the first to third commodity division name tables T1-T3 in each the first to third commodity division name table T1-T3 displayed on the display part 50; and the CPU 10 as a commodity name generation means combining the element names in each the first to third commodity division name table T1-T3 received by the input part 60 to generate the commodity name.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
