To more accurately specify destination intended by a user to be displayed on a navigation device.SOLUTION: Disclosed is an input assist device for a navigation device which includes: an identification unit for identifying a query by recognizing an input speech; and a candidate destination search unit for searching for candidate destinations corresponding to the query. The input assist device includes: a behavior data storage unit for storing the behavior data capable of identifying the behavior of a user; and a query correction unit for correcting the query by referring to the behavior data stored in the behavior data storage unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
