PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing fluorine that has been accumulated in a process liquid for a wet zinc-smelting process, from the liquid, which has been prepared by dissolving a zinc-containing substance containing a high concentration of fluorine. PSOLUTION: A fluorine-adsorbing-desorbing agent employs an aluminum compound of a solid body. The concentration of fluorine in the process liquid for the wet zinc-smelting process can be controlled into a target range by making the aluminum-based fluorine-adsorbing-desorbing agent adsorb fluorine. The aluminum-based fluorine-adsorbing-desorbing agent can be regenerated by desorption treatment and can be repeatedly used.
