PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shading coating material, a base material film, a coating material for a greenhouse for farming, and a greenhouse for farming, useful for protecting fruits in the greenhouse for farming and for adjusting a temperature, in particular, a soil temperature in the greenhouse for farming, and suitable for protecting a surface of the greenhouse for farming. PSOLUTION: The shading coating material comprises a pigment and an acrylate latex as main components, and includes, as the pigment, a titanium dioxide-calcium carbonate composite particles prepared by fixing calcium carbonate particles on a surface of titanium dioxide particles.
