PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rare earth metal/platinum-based metal extractant having a completely new structure which has not been shown in the conventional rare metal/platinum-based metal extractants and having excellent extracting performance, and to provide a method for extracting rare metal/platinum-based metal using the same.
