摘要

The past two decades have witnessed a shift in focus toward non-classical platinum compounds represented by picoplatin, satraplatin and polynuclear complexes. Unfortunately, the outcomes of clinical trials of these complexes remained far below expectations, and none of these complexes has been approved for clinical application, leading to the present suggestions that direct modification based on rational design is still an effective way to find new improved platinum drugs.
