PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information retrieval support system by which a user can retrieve information by switching how to retrieve content as necessary according to circumstances or purpose in content retrieval processing.;SOLUTION: A retrieval support module management means 100 defines how to retrieve content, and stores a retrieval support module for generating dialog information according to how to retrieve content. A retrieval support module determination means 200 performs the ranking of the retrieval support modules, and selects the retrieval support module. A retrieval support module execution means 410 of a dialog generation means 400 executes a retrieval support module by using content stored in the content management means 300, and generates dialog information, and transmits it to a dialog presentation means 500.
