PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anion adsorbing material more excellent in anion removability and handling performance, its manufacturing method, a method for removing an anion, a method for regenerating the anion adsorbing material and a method for recovering an element.;SOLUTION: The anion adsorbing material is obtained by adding an alkali to an iron ion-containing solution and adjusting the pH of the alkali-added solution to 4-8 to obtain a precipitate, drying the obtained precipitate at 60-100°C to obtain a microcrystalline iron hydroxide-based substance, mixing the obtained iron hydroxide-based substance with powder of a synthetic resin and heating/sintering the obtained mixture. The method for removing the anion comprises a step of bringing the anion adsorbing material into contact with an anion-containing solution to adsorb the anion contained in the anion-containing solution on the anion adsorbing material. The method for regenerating the anion adsorbing material comprises a step of treating the anion-adsorbed anion adsorbing material with an alkaline solution to elute the adsorbed anion. The method for recovering the element comprises the steps of: treating the anion-adsorbed anion adsorbing material with the alkaline solution to elute the adsorbed anion; and recovering the element contained in the eluted anion.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
