PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera and a digital single-lens reflex camera which do not give damage to an imager in deciding framing even in the case of a single-lens reflex camera capable of through-image output. PSOLUTION: In the digital single-lens reflex camera having a through-image mode for continuously picking up a subject and display images, the subject light quantity to be incident via an exchange lens 80 having a photographic lens is adjusted by a diaphragm mechanism 102 via a diaphragm drive circuit 84 and a diaphragm motor 85. The lens data of the photographic lens are acquired from a memory 90 of the exchange lens 80 by an operation section 81 and an operation section 50.
