PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a pocketed Japanese paper, comprising forming a pocket in the same production process as that of a Japanese paper main body and then integrating the pocket with the paper main body, by which the pocketed Japanese paper attracting users and rich in unexpectedness can be obtained.;SOLUTION: This method for producing the pocketed Japanese paper is characterized by separately making Japanese paper portions becoming a base layer 2 and a pocket layer 3, respectively, piling the pocket layer 3 on a prescribed position of the base layer 2 through a partition plate 12 in such a state that the base layer 2 and the pocket layer 3 contain water, compressing the water-containing Japanese paper comprising the base layer 2 and the pocket layer 3, pulling out the partition plate 12 in the un-dried state, and then drying the un-dried paper comprising the base layer 2 and the pocket layer 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
