PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for collecting the total amount of trace arsenic in gases, and to provide a total analysis method, capable of collecting the total amount of gaseous arsenic compounds contained in gases, particulate arsenic compounds, and arsenic compounds in particulates and of measuring the concentration of arsenic at atmospheric levels. PSOLUTION: When trace arsenic compounds in gases are to be collected and analyzed, a plurality of stages of collection units, comprising glass-fiber filters carrying KMnOSB4/SBand fluorine-contained resin filters, are arranged to collect gaseous arsenic compounds contained inside gases, particulate arsenic compounds, and arsenic compounds in particulates, in the method for collecting the total amount of trace arsenic in gases.
