PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a registration device, an authentication device, a registration authentication device, a registration method, an authentication method, a registration program, and an authentication program for performing authentication processing or registration processing by an ocular image captured under the best conditions for each of a plurality of persons to be identified. PSOLUTION: The authentication device is equipped with an imaging part 2 for capturing a plurality of ocular images of a person 30 to be identified, an ocular image evaluation part 80 for evaluating each of the plurality of ocular images captured by the imaging part 2, and an authentication processing part 17 for performing authentication processing on the ocular image evaluated as the best one out of the plurality of ocular images by the evaluation part 80.
