PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication device which can reduce a false rejection ratio without increasing a false accept ratio and can improve handleability by reducing the occurrences of reshooting, and to provide a registration device, a registration authentication device, an authenticating method, a registering method, an authentication program and registration program.;SOLUTION: The authentication device is provided with a photographing part 2 for photographing an eye image of a person 30 to be authenticated, an iris processing part 16 for segmenting a partial image including an iris from the eye image of the person 30 to be authenticated photographed by the photographing part 2 to create authentication information, an evaluating part 80 for evaluating the unmatched degree generated from the authentication information, an iris position correcting part 70 for correcting the position of the iris segmented by the iris processing part 16 on the basis of an evaluation result in the evaluating part 80, and an authentication processing part 17 for comparing preregistered registration authentication information with the authentication information to perform authentication processing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
