PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smart antenna for improving quality of received data in which the received signal quality is deteriorated.;SOLUTION: An antenna element group for receiving a radio signal includes a desired signal; an RF processing unit for changing the received radio signal to a digital one and generating it as a digital base band signal; a base band processing unit for generating a first demodulation signal after performing a first smart antenna process, which forms in an adaptive way a desired beam on the digital base band signal for every radio frame; a re-processing unit for generating a second demodulation signal after performing a second smart antenna process, which forms in an adaptive way a desired beam so that receive property in the digital base band signal better than the first smart antenna process for every radio frame can be acquired, if the deterioration amount of the receive signal quality of the desired signal is not less than a threshold value; and a signal selecting unit for selecting first demodulation data or second demodulation data according to the receive signal quality of the desired signal, and generating an output as demodulation signal for the desired signal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
