SIGNAL PROCESSING DEVICE IN SMART ANTENNA SYSTEM AND SIGNAL PROCESSING METHOD USING SMART ANTENNA SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A signal processing device in a smart antenna system and a signal processing method using a smart antenna system are provided to locate an interference remover prior to a smart antenna algorithm, and to calculate a smart antenna weight for an interference-removed signal, thereby improving performance of a receiving system. CONSTITUTION: An interference remover(200) separates each user signal from signals received to plural antennas(100,110,120), and removes an interference by using spread codes of users according to each of the antennas(100,110,120). A weight applier(300) receives each of the user signals outputted from the interference remover(200), and applies a weight transmitted from a smart antenna algorithm processor(400) to each of the received user signals. The smart antenna algorithm processor(400) removes a signal having a different AOA(Angle Of Arrival) from the receiving signals outputted from the weight applier(300).
