ECDYSONE RECEPTOR DERIVED FROM INSECT OF ORDER HEMIPTERA AND ULTRASPIRACLE AND UTILIZATION THEREOF

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for especially detecting a compound (an ecdysone activity regulator) regulating the ecdysis of an insect of the order Hemiptera, especially Nilaparuata lugens which is one species of insect pests of the order Hemiptera. PSOLUTION: A protein composed of the following amino acid sequence (a) or (b) is provided: (a) a protein composed of an amino acid sequence represented by a specific sequence or (b) a protein composed of an amino acid sequence in which one or several amino acids are deleted, substituted or added in the amino acid sequence represented by the specific sequence and having functions as an ecdysone receptor. Furthermore, the compound regulating the ecdysis is detected by using the protein or a cell system derived from the Nilaparuata lugens. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
