PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seepage control structure using cell revetment, which is superior in the seepage controll performance and reliability of the whole revetment, which can reduce a construction cost and a construction period and which facilitates the identification and maintenance of a water leakage location, and a seepage-control monitoring method.;SOLUTION: The cell revetment C comprises many cell shells 1 with opened bottoms, which are embedded up to a predetermined depth, an arc part which connects the cell shells 1 to each other, and a filling material which is infilled into them. A flow of seepage water between a front water area A and a reclaimed land B for waste disposal is blocked by utilizing the cell revetment C. A water head c, in a dam body, of the cell revetment C is kept constantly higher than a water head b on the side of the reclaimed land B. When the revetment is constructed in the water area such a sea area, where a water level fluctuates, a through-hole 5 is provided in a position lower than a high water level ah on side of the front water area A of the cell revetment C and higher than a management water level b on the side of the reclaimed land B. This enables the application of the method in which the water head c in the dam body is kept higher than the water head b on the side of the reclaimed land B without the use of power by utilizing a fluctuation Δa in the water level of the front water area A.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
