FIXING STRUCTURE OF BATTERY BOX FOR VEHICLE

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To waterproof a battery box in an ideal state, and to fix it to a frame by using an insulating nut in a simple structure. PSOLUTION: The fixing structure of the battery box fixes the battery box 2 for storing batteries to the frame 1 of a vehicle via a bolt 3. The frame 1 of the vehicle fixes the insulating nut 4 for screwing the tip of the bolt 3. The insulating nut 4 fixes a nut body 7 to the inside of a holder mount 5 via a resin component 6. The holder mount 5 is a metal cylinder, welds and fixes a flange 14 provided at a lower end to the frame 1, and fixes the resin component 6 inside by a release stopper plate 8 at an upper end. One or both of the area between the flange 14 and the frame 1, and that between the resin component 6 and the holder mount 5 are connected in a watertight structure. A packing 9 is held between the battery box 2 and the holder mount 5 of the insulating nut 4, thus allowing the insulating nut 4 and the battery box 2 to be in a watertight structure.
