In a mounting structure for a vehicle battery box, a battery box (1) between a left and a right rear side frame member (2L and 2R) in the rear part of a vehicle by a first and a second cross member (3 and 4), which between the left and the right rear side frame member (2L and 2R) are installed, held in a suspended manner. The first cross member (3) is essentially attached to the front end of a rear deformation area which is fixed to the left and right rear side frame elements (2L and 2R). A high voltage part (7) is fixed between the first and second cross members (3 and 4) on the upper surface of the right rear side frame member (2R). The battery box (1) is electrically connected to the high-voltage part (7) by a connecting element (8).
