PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical adjustment device capable of correcting spherical aberration with high accuracy in a simple configuration, and an optical pickup apparatus provided with the same, to provide the optical adjustment device capable of displacing a second lens holder with respect to a first lens holder without misregistration and attaining simplification and downsizing of the device by reducing the number of components, and to provide a method and device for assembling the optical adjustment device.;SOLUTION: The second lens holder 64 fits into the guiding part 68 of the first lens holder 73, and a grip rack 81 is placed across the second lens holder 64 and a feed screw member 80 and resiliently abuts against the feed screw member 80. The driving force of a driving source 75 is transmitted to the grip rack 81 via the feed screw member 80, and the grip rack 81 is displaced. Therefore, it is possible to displace the second lens holder 64 with respect to the first lens holder 73, and adjust the spherical aberration of an optical system.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
