PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method and a driving mechanism, which can obtain a necessary driving force without requiring an excessively large mechanism as a driving method for a micro-machine and a troublesome energy supply, and further which does not apply an unreasonably heavy load to the machine. PSOLUTION: The rotational driving mechanism for the micro-machine drives a minute impeller in liquid. The minute impeller 8 floats on the liquid surface of fluorinert 3, and silicon oil 4 is applied on the respective surfaces on the same side of the minute impeller 8. By this configuration, the convection is caused by the difference of interfacial tension between the fluorinert 3 and the silicon oil 4.
