PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a control of a permanent-magnet synchronous motor with high accuracy, by identifying a resistance value of a motor winding and correcting a resistance set value, in a motor controller that estimates the magnetic pole position of the permanent-magnet synchronous motor and drives. PSOLUTION: In a motor controller, including a current control portion for controlling a detecting current following a current command value, a voltage command value generator for generating the voltage command value, on the basis of the output and the set value of a motor constant, at the positioning that an arbitrary current command value is given; a speed command value is zero; and a permanent magnetic synchronous motor is fixed at a voluntary phase by the magnetic position command value; the output of the current control portion is obtained by resistance value identification device and the resistance identification value is obtained by the current command value or the detecting current; and the resistance setting value is corrected by a resistance setting value changing device based on the identification value, thus realizing high-accuracy control of the permanent-magnetic synchronous motor.
