SINGLE CRYSTAL ANATASE-TYPE TiO2 AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide large size single crystal anatase-type TiOSB2/SBhaving an octahedral conformation being a thermodynamic equilibrium system; and also to provide a method for producing the octahedral single crystal anatase-type TiOSB2/SBby solution synthesis. PSOLUTION: The single crystal anatase-type TiOSB2/SBis equipped with an octahedral crystal which is obtained by the solution synthesis and is characterized in that the distance between two vertices is ≥0.5 μm. The method for producing the single crystal anatase-type TiOSB2/SBcomprises using an aqueous solution of TiClSB3/SBand sodium dodecyl sulfate and heating the solution to a temperature of 100-230°C to deposit anatase-type TiOSB2/SBon a substrate by hydrothermal synthesis.
