PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving the hematopoietic function of a horse, capable of preventing or improving the anemia of the horse, and a hematopoietic function-improving agent of the horse, capable of suitably being used for the method.;SOLUTION: This method for improving the hematopoietic function of the horse is provided by administering lactoferrin to the horse.
