PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice conversation translation device capable of promoting smooth conversation. PSOLUTION: This voice conversation translation device has: a voice recognition part 103 recognizing voice by an original language uttered by a user, and outputting a recognition resu an original language storage part 121 storing the recognition resu a translation decision part 104 deciding whether to translate the recognition result or not on the basis of a rule describing whether to translate a part of the utterance during the utterance; a translation part 105 converting the recognition result into a parallel translation sentence described by a target language of the translation and outputting it, when the translation decision part 104 decides to translate the recognition resu and a voice synthesis part 107 synthesizing the parallel sentence to voice in the target language.
