PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of determining highly accurately rupture of a spot weld zone by using a simple model. PSOLUTION: This rupture determination means is equipped with: a storage means for storing a critical stress when a boundary part between a nugget and a metal plate is ruptured; a condition input means for inputting an axial force, a bending moment and a shearing force acting on the nugget center; a shearing stress calculation means for calculating the maximum shearing stress acting on the boundary part from the input axial force and bending moment; a tensile stress calculation means for calculating the maximum tensile stress acting on the boundary part based on the input shearing force; and a determination means for determining rupture of the spot weld zone based on the calculated maximum shearing stress and maximum tensile stress and the critical stress stored in the storage means.
