LAMP SOCKET, LIGHTING APPARATUS AND SINGLE BASE TYPE FLUORESCENT LAMP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp socket which holds a single base type fluorescent lamp having a spiral light emitting tube and a pin terminal mouthpiece and in which a safety against a dropping of a lamp which is fixed by rotation into a lamp socket and an easy handling are secured simultaneously, and provide a lighting apparatus and a single base type fluorescent lamp.;SOLUTION: The lamp socket 6 holds the single base type fluorescent lamp provided with a light emitting tube in which a glass tube is formed spirally around a rotating axis and a mouthpiece 4 having a plurality of pin terminals 3, and the socket is provided with a contact metal piece 10 to contact the pin terminal 3, and after the lamp is inserted alongside the rotating axis (an arrow I) and rotated (an arrow II), the pin terminal 3 and the contact metal piece 10 are contacted (an arrow III) by a load in a rotating axis direction. Since the load direction of the pin terminal of the lamp and the contact metal piece 10 of the lamp socket 6 becomes at a perpendicular direction with the rotating direction of the lamp and a torque at the time of rotating the lamp becomes small, the lamp can be rotated easily even if the spiral light emitting tube only can be grasped.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
