LAMP SOCKET, SINGLE BASE TYPE FLUORESCENT LAMP AND LIGHTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single base type fluorescent lamp having a spiral light emitting tube and a pin terminal type mouthpiece, in which an easiness of a fitting of a lamp into a lamp socket is attained.;SOLUTION: The single base type fluorescent lamp 1 is provided with a light emitting tube 11 around a spiral axis C of which a glass tube is formed spirally and a mouthpiece 12 having a plurality of lamp pins for electric conducting. On a side of the mouthpiece 12, there are formed in projection a rotating part 13 as a guide, and a rotating axis A connected with the rotating part 13 is on a flat face perpendicular with the spiral axis C, and a line connected with the lamp pin 14 is on a straight line in parallel with the rotating axis A. When the lamp 1 is inserted into a lamp socket 2 from an axis inclined from the spiral direction of its fitting (an arrow I), the rotating part 13 is positioned in a rotating part receiving part 25. Then, when the lamp is pushed from a side and is moved around the rotating axis A (an arrow II), the lamp pins are inserted into and held by a lamp pin holding part 32 and the lamp is fitted finally.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
