PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lamp socket, single-base fluorescent lamp sockets, lighting equipment and single base fluorescent lamp equipment with which operation efficiency can be improved and lamp can be held stably. ;SOLUTION: This lamp socket has a base carrier section 6 to insert a lamp base 2 that a side projection 1 to be equipped on its side, The socket is provided with a first groove 7 which the projection 1 to be fastened runs along, when the lamp base 2 is inserted into the base carrier section 6 and a second groove 8 which the projection 1 to be fastened goes along by rotating with the lamp base 2 inserted in the base carrier section 6. The first groove 7 and the second groove 8 are continuous.
