PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a magnetic flux originating from a rotary rotor to efficiently work on an object to be separated. SOLUTION: This repulsion magnetic circuit type separation device is separated in such a manner that a mixed dust to be separated is conveyed using a conveyer belt and a moving magnetic field generated by the rotary rotor provided below the conveyer belt is made to act upon a non-ferrous metal contained in the mixed dust through the conveyer belt, and generate an eddy current in the non-ferrous metal to spring out the non-ferrous metal by a magnetic repulsive force, thereby, the non-ferrous metal is separated. In this case, the rotary rotor has such a construction that plural permanent magnets 3 are arranged in the peripheral direction and are positioned on both end sides of the periphery of the rotary rotor respectively and further, are arranged with the identical poles facing each other between the two adjacent permanent magnets 3. Magnetic fluxes originating from these two permanent magnets 3 become mutually repulsive so that the density of the magnetic fluxes penetrating through the mixed dust outside increases.
