FIELD: primary processing of mixed scrap and mixed wastes of nonferrous metals. SUBSTANCE: method includes fragmentation of initial raw materials, transportation, roasting with burning out of combustible materials and withdrawal of gases for cleaning, melting with separation of nonferrous metals, cooling and discharge of iron-containing products, slag and ash. Heat treatment of fragments of initial raw materials is conducted in nonoxidizing atmosphere, first, at 800-900 C with separation of lead and aluminium, and, then, at 1200-1250 C with separation of admixtures of gold and silver. The plant for embodiment of the offered method has unit for fragmentation of initial raw materials, furnace for roasting and melting provided with devices for moving fragments of initial raw materials and withdrawal of nonferrous metals; and cooling chamber. Device for decontamination and cleaning of gases is connected with roasting and melting furnace. The plant is provided with closed system of rail tracks passing through cooling chamber and roasting and melting furnace made in form of electric furnace of indirect heating separated by means of lifted heat shield into two chambers. Device for moving in furnace of fragments of initial raw materials is made in form of a row of bottom carriages with grate walls and inclined bottom installed on rail tracks and pusher and puller of bottom carriages located opposite to each other. Device for withdrawal of melted nonferrous metals is made in form of metal storages located in bottom of both chambers of furnace and having tapholes. System of rail tracks is provided with unit for unloading from bottom carriages of iron-containing products, slag and ash. The units located after cooling chamber.
