PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accurate system for predicting the power loss at adjustment of power supply.;SOLUTION: This loss predicting system is composed of a cost classifying processor 110 which classifies the facility information data base 125, according to the class of the cost, and stores the cost class information, a supply limit condition acquirer 111 which acquires supply limit conditions, a requirement computer 112 which computes the requirement of power by multiplying the power capacity of an applicable facility by the operation rates by time zones geared to an adjustment time zone, a cost computer 113 which computes the cost by multiplying the requirement of power by the applicable cost unit price separately for each facility in the facility information data base 125 thereby making a cost list 127, a stop recommended facility judger 114 which selects stop recommended facilities in order from facilities smaller in cost in the cost list 127 until the total of the power requirement of applicable consumers is settled under the electric energy where adjusted electric energy included in the supply limit conditions is decreased from the initial contracted electric energy of the comsumers, and an output processor 115 which computes the total of the cost arising to the stop recommended facility and outputs the total and the information on the stop recommended facility.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
