PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct fading of an image by printing data correctable of the fading of the image together with the image and referring to the printed data. PSOLUTION: An image processing system 1 includes an image output apparatus 2 for outputting a multicolor image and an image correction apparatus 3 for correcting the output image. The image output apparatus 2 includes: a data input means 72 for receiving image data; a reference color information generating means 74 for generating information derivable of changes with time of at least one reference color for configuring the image; and a print means 78 for transferring and printing the image and the information to a medium. The image correction apparatus 3 includes: a read means 80 for reading the image and the information output to the medium; a reference color fading derive means 84 for deriving the degree of the fading of the reference color after the image is output on the basis of the read information; and a correction means 86 for correcting the fading caused in the image on the basis of the derived degree of fading.
