PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely measure a friction force without being affected by disturbance caused by pressure. PSOLUTION: A friction force sensor has a plurality of piezo-resistance elements 12-15 for detecting deflection deformation of a diaphragm 11 as a variation of electric resistance. The piezo-resistance elements 12-15 are connected so as to offset the variation of electric resistance due to the deflection deformation of the diaphragm 11 by a pressing force Fp and extract the variation of electric resistance due to the deflection deformation of the diaphragm 1 by a force Ft originated by the friction force t.
