PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle moving distance detecting method, a vehicle moving distance detector, a current vehicle position detecting method, and a current vehicle position detector, capable of detecting precisely a moving distance and a current position even after a pulse signal from a vehicle speed sensor is not output.;SOLUTION: The moving distance DM is found, based on the pulse signal from the vehicle speed sensor, when the vehicle speed Vn of a vehicle found based on pulse signal from the vehicle speed sensor is a reference vehicle speed Vk or more (steps S1-2, S1-3).
