PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically obtain a resin composition compounded with an inorganic matter containing an intercalation compound, which composition having excellent rigidity and thermal and impact resistances, by obtaining the intercalation compound easily capable of finely dispersing directly in the polymers at nanolevel.;SOLUTION: The resin composition compounded with the inorganic matter is obtained by ion-exchanging between a mixture of more than two kinds of swelling intercalation compounds (a) and a compound capable of forming organic onium ion (b), by intercalating said organic onium ion (b) into said swelling intercalation compounds (a) to obtain intercalation compounds (c), and by kneading obtained intercalation compounds with a thermoplastic resin (d).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
